Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network of Horizon Europe
Achieving a spot in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (MSCA-DN) is, in practice, a seal of scientific excellence from the European Union. This program is the EU's main instrument for doctoral and postdoctoral training, and in the 2024 call, it selected only 149 projects out of 1,417 proposals, which represents a success rate of approximately 10.6%, backed by €608 million in funding.
Exceeding this threshold means that an external panel of international experts has classified the CRITERIA consortium—and thus our contribution—within the top 10% of research and innovation initiatives across Europe. (Research and innovation, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions)
This distinction goes far beyond prestige: it integrates us into a four-year, pan-European network that includes over 9,000 organizations from academic, industrial, and public policy sectors; it gives us privileged access to 13 fully funded doctoral researchers who will work on key IMHOIT technologies; and it aligns our brand with the European Critical Raw Materials Act.

PLATDAT
In May 2023 , together with the Catalan company Armengol & Ros Consultors i Associats and in collaboration with the Cluster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya and the Associació Clúster Digital de Catalunya, we won a call for proposals from AEI, Next Generation EU Financing and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
This enabled the development of the PLATDAT 2 project, which aims to optimize energy data management, making it more efficient, secure, and accessible.
